Unified.to launches SCIM support for 360+ integrations
·
Update, 21 October 2026: SCIM now works on most of Unified.to_'s 750 HR & Directory integrations: any that support the Employee object. For current endpoints and details, see_ How to use SCIM with the Unified API and the SCIM API overview.
Unified.to has released a SCIM (System for Cross-domain Identity Management) API for user provisioning across HR systems.
What's more, we've added SCIM endpoints to our HRIS integrations that support the Employee object, so you can use SCIM with over 360 integrations (at launch, October 2024), including those that don't natively support SCIM.
Expanding the Reach of SCIM
SCIM is a standardized API for managing user identities across different systems. While it's an effective tool for streamlining identity management and user provisioning, its adoption has been limited by the number of services that natively support it. Unified.to addresses this limitation by providing SCIM endpoints over its HR integrations.
Our SCIM support lets developers manage identities across HR systems, regardless of their native SCIM support. This is made possible by our ability to provide SCIM endpoints for any integration that supports the Employee object.
Key Features of Unified.to's SCIM Support
- Wide Integration Coverage: SCIM support for any integration that supports the HRIS Employee object: over 360 integrations at launch.
- Simplified Implementation: Developers can use existing SCIM implementations with Unified.to's SCIM endpoints, reducing the need for custom code.
- Standards-based: endpoints based on SCIM 2.0 (RFC 7644), so existing SCIM clients can call them.
- Extended Attributes: Support for additional SCIM extensions, allowing for more detailed user attribute management.
Benefits for Developers and Businesses
This release offers significant advantages for both developers and businesses:
- For Developers: Manage user identities across many HR systems without learning each system's API.
- For Businesses: Provision and deprovision users across the HR systems your customers already use.
